There are statues of two Chinese lions outside main entrance to Metro Jaya Times Square. Inside the mouth of each is a stone ball which you can actually move around with your hand. I would like to find out the significance of these statues - someone did say they came from Chinese legend. Though I was given little detail, it seems people left out a large stones (instead of food) for the lion so when it tried to eat the stone stuck in its mouth - and this made everyone feel better as the lion couldnt attack them or eat the little children !!Maybe I will find the proper version of the story sometime....?
